Day 10- MOTD: My Christmas Makeup
I love a good makeup look and I've just bought the Soph X Revolution Eyeshadow Palette as an early Christmas present with money from my Great Auntie and Uncle, so thank you to them! I am going to talk you through my Christmas makeup as this is what I plan to do on the 25th.
I started with the eyeshadow in case I had any fall-out, so I primed my entire face using the PS Primer Water. I added some of my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer as a base and set this in place with Penguin, which is the white shade in the palette. From the Soph X Revolution Eyeshadow Palette, I took the shade called Pancakes through my crease as a transition shade, before combining Cuppa Tea and Tiramisu through my crease, and blending this out before adding the shades Pumpkin in the outer 3rd of my crease. I then took the shade Danger, which is my favourite in the palette, into the very outer part of my crease and I blended all of this. I then took my concealer again and did a cut crease, before setting it again with the shade Penguin. I then added the shimmer using my fingers and I used the shade Sparks Fly all over the lid, and Grow Old in the outer third. I added the shade Fairy Lights to highlight my brow bone and to be used as an inner corner highlight.
I brushed away my fall out and began on my face makeup. I colour corrected using the Collection Lasting Perfection Colour Corrector in Green on my cheeks and nose. I then used my favourite foundation which is the Rimmel Lasting Finish because it is so full coverage and lasts really well as it states in the name. After blending this in, I take the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and place this under my eyes and on my nose to cover up the dark circles and add a bit more coverage. I set this all in place using the Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder. I contoured using the Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit, and then mix two shades from the Sleek Solstice palette to highlight my cheeks.
Onto brows and I take my MUA brow pencil in Brunette to just fill in the sparse areas and create a bit more shape. I carve them out using the Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer which is the best for carving out eyebrows. I finish off my eyes by adding Cuppa Tea and Tiramisu on my lower lash line before adding the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara to my top and bottom lashes. For my lips, I took my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi and applied this.
So I hope you liked reading about my Christmas Day makeup: what's your go-to Christmas look?? love,
